Polarity out of whack?
When we attend to and heal our own selves, much in our life then changes for the better.
Our innately feminine or masculine energy becomes suppressed or distorted due to trauma. The feminine or masculine didn't feel safe to embody, had to be denied or hidden or exaggerated in some way in order to survive being brought up by fallible human beings doing the best they could with they were given by their own parents and ancestors. As human beings, we are affected by traumas that we don't even remember, having spent most of our lives proving to our self that the associated belief - what we made those events mean - is true. We get to adult hood and perhaps don't fully understand why we feel the way do or attract the experiences that we do. Life can feel too challenging!
From the safety of the now moment, it is now possible to go into the subconscious, help our wounded child, clear the trauma from her body, change the associated belief and return to the now moment with that memory now leaving a different imprint. We can't change who died, or who went away but we change our response to what happened and bring in the support that wasn't there. The more we do this, with each of the memories that affect us, the closer we get to our essential self and further away from our conditioned reactions and the false self that we had to become. With therapeutic work, women tend to feel safer in their feminine energy and men tend to feel safer in their masculine energy. Both feel safer expressing vulnerability.
